What is the best collage for becoming an elementary school teacher?

i am getting a little bit older now and i want to start thinking about collage. I definitely want to become a teacher. i live in upstate new york and i want to teach elementary school (grades k-5) i also want to know what degrees i need to become a teacher, and how long it would take.
