Why Do White Americans Dislke or Hate African Americans?

In the UK, which may not be interesting for you, most whites have a problem with the black community because of their reliance on welfare, involvment in crime & also the fact( & i dont know why this is) but when black people start to move into a neighbourhood it goes into a decline, becomes more crime ridden, gangs on the streets & so on. I think the perception is that black people are looking for an easy ride because they feel its owed to them for past grievances. Please note i dont personally hold these views my self.
