Hair help!?

Hey, I have dark brunette hair and I got a ton of blonde high lights so I could be considered a blonde. Its naturally curly and about five or six inches below my sholders when its curly. I want to get it chem. straightened with a mild straightner, cut a lot off (untill its about 2 or 3 inches bellow my sholder), touch up my roots, get a sidebang (I have one now, but it grew out.) Do you think it would look good?
