Bruce lee's methods about sound?

Bruce lee was on this old movie it was Longstreet and he said you have to hear your opponent. And they guy did and lee said listen to the birds and the guy kicked. And lee said how did it feel..it felt like I didn't kick ?it kicked. My question is how do you you throw cambos with out thinking. Because lee was saying how you can throw cambos whith out thinking just by feeling
