I signed up for a hosting account, and now I do not know how to put up a blog there.?

I signed uo for a luved.net sub domain hosting account, and now I am bombarded with FTP stuff and all. Where do I sign in? Is it better if I have WordPress account and leave my Blogger blog (which is fairly new anyway). Any comprehensive tutorials of anything? Any other account or software I need? Where do I start to get the blog going. If it helps, my account is thepauperdiaries.luved.net and my blogger account is thepauperdiaries.blo.com. I just need a push with these.
